Understanding and Cultivating Relationship with Rahu & Ketu with Billy J. Choi-Gekas

  • Toronto Public Library Danforth Coxwell Branch (Meeting Room) 1675 Danforth Avenue Toronto, ON, M4C 5P2 Canada (map)

This is a hybrid event with options to attend in person or join online via Zoom.

In this workshop, Billy will offer a dismantling of common misconceptions of Rahu (lunar north node) & Ketu (lunar south node) that have created harm, rather than offer wisdom and discernment in relation to karma. Understanding the powerful medicine that is offered by the celestial serpent's place in a chart, one can create opportunities to cultivate deep respect, and a liberative relationship with the Rahu-Ketu impulse. Working from the tradition of Jyotish Vidya, Billy will offer: narrative and qualitative understanding of Rahu & Ketu, their place in two divisional charts (D1 - natal, and D9 - navamsha/dharma/relational), their place in dashas (transits), upayas (remedial measures), and method of reading. There will be interactive opportunity through the workshop, and the chance to practice on a few charts by applying what has been collectively learned.
