This talk clears popular misconceptions and misunderstandings of Chinese Astrology.   Fixed stars, eclipses, the 9 planets & alchemy is inherent in Chinese Astrology but different from their place in Western Astrology.  Rich in culture, history & cosmological concepts dating over 6000 yrs.  Attendees will take away a better understanding of the 3 major systems including some practical applications.

About Jen:

Jen provides Western horary, forecasting, and synastry consultations, and  holds the Medical Astrology Diploma and the Horary Practitioner from The School of Traditional Astrology.  Jen also practices Four Pillars (八字 Ba’Zi) and Feng Shui (風水) from the Yellow Hat Sect widely practised in East Asia, and also teaches Four Pillars.  She is thrilled to be presenting for ATI and has given talks for NCGR, OPA, ISAR, SAA, IAAM, EAS, APAA/AAPA, IAA, Talk Cosmos and the public.  She is the creator and co-host of The Cosmic Pulse Podcast.

Jen is a cis-woman of Cantonese heritage living in Canada under Treaty 13 and The Williams Treaty under The Two Row Wampum Belt Agreement.  She studied maths and sciences and has a love of comedy, Nature, Art and Liberal Arts, particularly archeological cosmology, animism, metaphysics, spirituality, and social and ecological justice.
