In preparation for International Astrology Day, professional astrologer and psychotherapist in training, Jennifer Fukushima will lead a tutorial on how to conduct a 10 minute mini-reading. Through her work for a popular astrology app, Fukushima has perfected her technique for cold readings. Learn about the popular types of readings requested, tools, tips and tricks as well as transits for 2021. Attendees will have the opportunity to observe live mini readings and also to practice their reading skills with a partner.
Jennifer Fukushima (she/they) is a registered psychotherapist and professional astrologer. As a psychotherapist, she specializes in incorporating astrological symbolism into ongoing sessions for clients, working from a holistic depth psychology, somatic and spiritually integrated lens.Jennifer operates from a feminist, anti-capitalist, anti-oppressive framework.She also runs a peer-consultation group for Ontario based psychotherapists who want to incorporate astrology into their practice.
Jennifer was the president of Astrology Toronto from 2019-2025.She follows the modern, western psychological tradition, offering chart interpretation to explore client strengths, areas of growth and major life themes, as well as forecasting, relationship exploration and vocational work.
